BRENDAN FAIRCLOUGH

So, who is this guy?

Brendan Fairclough has been rolling with DMR for well over a decade, bringing big-mountain chaos, World Cup speed and full-tilt freeride energy everywhere he shows up. He’s one of the riders who rewired how modern downhill and freeride look — all precision, all style, zero fear.

Alongside his partner-in-crime Olly Wilkins, Brendan obsessed over every millimetre of what would become the DMR Deathgrip — now a legit cult classic and his signature grip since 2014. The grip blew up so hard it didn’t just influence riding or a thousand pale imitations… it spawned Deathgrip: The Movie — a full-length, no-rules mountain bike film that hit harder than half the industry’s marketing budgets combined.

Two sequels to the originals followed in 2024 – with the DMR Deathgrip2 grip dropping as a refined version of the original design, quickly followed up by Deathgrip 2 the movie, stretching the limits of biking films yet again. Brendan rides fast, rides loose, and keeps pushing the whole scene forward — exactly the kind of energy that DMR’s built on.
