What’s the Gridlock grip? We took one of our favourite push-on grips, the DMR Grid grip, and made a lock-on version with a longer length than the average lock-on grip. We added a tried and tested Deathgrip-style waffle grip pattern where your fingers grab, creating more control than a regular mushroom grip. We also made the new Gridlock in two distinct sizes.

Gridlock 34
We developed our new MTB grip with a slightly larger outer diameter option – for riders with bigger hands, or those just looking for more comfort and shock absorption. The new, larger, 34mm diameter with soft Kraton compound rubber results in more control and confidence out on the trail, with outstanding vibration damping for longer rides and bigger days at the bike park. This means less arm-pump, and more riding time.

Gridlock 29
The new Gridlock 29 takes that proven design and features a slimmer diameter to create a grip which feels direct and hugely responsive – if you like thin grips, you’ll love these.
The new, slim mushroom pattern and soft Kraton compound rubber results in more control and confidence out on the trail, complete with just enough vibration damping thanks to its mushroom design.
A single lock-on aluminium clamp combined with a nylon core and exposed core-end ensures a simple installation and a long-lasting, reliable and secure grip.

Additional Info

Please follow these instructions carefully to install your new DMR Gridlocks.
1. Remove your old grips and bar end plugs.
2. Thoroughly clean and degrease the handlebar.
3. Ensure there is at least 150mm of free bar space for each grip. If necessary, move your controls to create the required space.
4. Fit the new DMR Gridlocks onto the handlebar by pushing them on all the way until they won't go any further. You may need a soft faced mallet or similar to tap them on fully.
5. Make sure the collars are fully located on the grips and tighten the collar bolts to torque (2nm). Do not overtighten the collar bolts, only tighten them enough that the grips will not rotate under force.
6. Confirm that the grips and controls are securely in place. Twist the grips hard to ensure they do not move.
