Grant ‘Chopper’ Fielder has been throwing shapes on a bike since before most kids knew what slopestyle even was. Dirt jumps, sketchy landings, blown-up freeride lines – Chopper built his reputation the hard way and became one of the original heavy hitters of UK mountain biking. King of Dirt titles, Red Bull invites and years deep in the freeride underground made him a certified legend long before Instagram got hold of the sport.

From the chaos of the New World Disorder era to competing across the FMB World Tour, Chopper’s ridden for some of the biggest bike brands in the game – Kona, GT, Nukeproof, Lapierre and now Marin – always with his own unmistakable style, and always with DMR at his feet. Fast, loose and never over-polished, he’s been part of the backbone of British MTB for over two decades.

These days, Chopper still lives and breathes bikes. Whether he’s judging the scene's biggest slopestyle contests as Head Judge of the FMB World Tour or creating content with Muc-Off, he’s still right in the middle of the action – keeping the scene loud, raw and rolling.
