Katy was always one of those kids that couldn't sit still, so any sport that involved being outside, she was doing it... but riding was always the one that stuck more than anything. Like everything in life, it always seemed to be right place, right time. Growing up in a little village where MBUK magazine used to go and shoot a lot of content, they saw Katy riding on many occasions and supported her by helping out with components and kit, then suggested she got into racing. The second Katy turned 17 and could drive, she drove herself to her first race and never looked back since.
