Steve Geall was born into the bike game before he even knew it — his first ride was literally welded together by his old man. From that moment on, the die was cast.

Utilising riding talent nurtured through his world-beating freestyle BMX background, Steve clawed his way up through the early MTB scene, charging downhill tracks around the world, stacking iconic sponsors like Giant, Spooky, the original Animal Team, Muc Off and more — and has been with DMR Bikes since 1998.

These days, Steve’s the definition of an OG. He rides with that unmistakable “been-there, sent-that” aptitude, dropping knowledge, style, and stories on anyone lucky enough to share a lap with him. Legends don’t retire — they just keep shredding. Geally is the personification of Down For Life.
